Homemade Dog Treats – Easy Treats to Make at Home

So maybe you want to give your dog some really tasty treats, but you can’t really afford to spend the money. On top of that, you’re worried about treats that contain unhealthy ingredients. Well, there’s a great option for you: Make your dog’s treats at home.

Peanut Butter Dog Treats

You can make some great treats with this ingredient, because a lot of dogs just love peanut butter. Here’s what you do: Add 1/2 cup of peanut butter with 1 & 1/2 cup of all purpose flour, 1 & 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour, 1 cup of water, and two tablespoons of oil. Cut this mixture up into small easy-to-bite pieces and bake them for 20 minutes at 350 dehrees F.

Oatmeal Dog Treats

Oatmeal treats are also great homemade dog treats and they are easy to make. What you do is you mix together a cup of cold water with 1.5 cups of whole wheat flour, a teaspoon of baking soda, 3 cups of oatmeal, 2 egg yolks, and a tablespoon of parsley. Spoon the mixture onto a cookies sheet and bake them at 350 F for 15 minutes. Your dog is going to love these.

These are just a few examples of wonderful treats that you can make at home for your dog. They are very inexpensive to make and you won’t have to worry about preservatives that can be harmful to your dog.
